The mechanical track tensioner is installed between the links of the tracks. The tracks are tensioned one side at a time, using an impact wrench, ratchet or other type of wrench. The mechanical track tensioner is a reliable tool that is easy to transport with the rest of your maintenance equipment. The replacement links supplied with the track tensioner make installing and tensioning the tracks easier and faster.
